Next Release Tool supports modelling and reasoning activities to select the optimum set of requirements for the next release of a software product. It is a standalone Java application available for Windows, MAC OS X, and Linux platforms. It provides a graphical modeling editor, automated consistency check of the models, and automated reasoning functions to find the optimal solution sets. The users can customise the default conceptual model to add their own relations between requirements. The solution is reported text and highlighted in the models.
